Riyan Parag Vs Royal Challengers Banglore | RCBvsRR

It was match number 39 between the Royals of Banglore and Rajasthan at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium. The toss was won by RCB and they chose to bowl first.

Rajasthan opened their batting with Jos Buttler and Devdutt Padikal. Padikal scored a 6 on the first ball of the second over but a being dismissed by Siraj for a lbw. Ashwin came in to bat at number 3 and scored a qucik 17 runs in 9 balls and them caught and bowled by Siraj. Jos could not scored runs today as he went back to the pavilion for just 8 runs. Samson's hard hitting six power was at show scoring back to back 2 sixes, but was being bowled by Hasaranga. The two people at the crease were Daryl and Riyan. Daryl struggled to bat and was dismissed by Hazelwood. Riyan's position in the team was question by many and he decided to shut down every mouth today scoring 56 runs in 31 balls and helping Rajasthan get a par score of 144 at the loss of 8 wickets.
We also saw a spectacular catch from King Kohli at short mid-wicket dismissing Boult. Also a bit of chit-chat between Riyan and Harshal put the cameras to them.

The target for 145 runs was set by Rajasthan. Banglore opened their batting with Faf and Virat at the crease hoping Virat would find a good start but bad luck still on his side. He scored 9 runs in 10 balls. Faf looked good but Kuldeep Sen did his magic dismissing him at 23 runs. Rajat was being bowled by Ashwin. Maxwell was dismissed at the very first ball of his innings. And everything scattered for RCB. Whoever hit the ball high found Riyan Parag under him as he took catches out of the 10 wickets that fell. RCB only managed to score 115 runs before being all out in the 20th over with 3 balls to spare.

Riyan Parag was awarded the man of the match for showcasing his batting performance scoring 56 runs in 31 balls and for his fielding performance taking 4 catches.
