Rashid and Tewatia does the magic for Titans, Gujarat wins by 5 wickets | GTvsSRH
It is match number 40 between Gujarat Titans and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Wankhede stadium. The toss was won by the Gujarat Titans and they opted to bowl first.
Abhishek Sharma and Kane Williamson opened the innings for the Sunrisers. Shami blowed the first wicket dismissing Williamson for just 5 runs. And the he also dismissed Rahul Tripathi for 16 runs. Hyderabad were 44 for the loss of 2 wickets. Markram came in to bat and build a good 96 run partnership with Abhishek. Abhishek scored good 65 runs in 42 balls before being clean bowled by Alzarri Joseph. Markram scored 56 runs before being caught by Miller. At the end Shashank singh showed his batting power and made Gujarat concede 25 runs in the last over of the innings that too by Lockie Ferguson.

A huge target of 196 was set off by the Sunrisers for Titans. Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill opened the innings and got a good start of 69 runs before Gill was dismissed by Umran Malik scattering his stumps apart. Hardik came in to bat at number 3 and was dismissed early by Umran Malik for just 10 runs. David Miller also fell to Umran's of above 150KM/H and was clean bowled. Saha showed his top class batting scoring 68 runs in just 38 balls and was also dismissed by Umrans Pace. Umran took 5 wickets which consisted Saha, Gill, Hardik, David and Abhimav Manohar. No other bowler could take wickets. The pressure was on the shoulders of Rahul Tewatia and Rashid Khan to make their team win. 22 runs were needed in last over and Janesan was to bowl the last over. It started of with a 6 by Tewatia and then a single on the next ball. Rashid was on strike and hit a 6 straight down the ground. 9 were required in 3 balls and Rashid missed the next ball that meant 2 balls were left and the job was to be done by him. Well he did it scoring back to back 6's taking the team back to number one spot.

Umran Malik was awarded the man of the match for his excellent bowling performance taking 5 wickets in his 4 overs spell and giving away 25 runs.
