KL Scores a ton, Mumbai still in search of 1st win

It was match number 37 between the Lucknow Supergaints and Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium. The toss was won by the Mumbai Indians and they opted to ball first.

KL Rahul and Quinton De Kock opened the innings for Lucknow. De kock's wicket fell shortly in 10 runs. Kl's batting looked promising but wickets fell from the other end at a regular intervals. Stoinis, Krunal couldnot score runs. Deepak Hooda scored 10 runs and Badoni scored some good 14 runs and because of KL's ton Lucknow went for a total of 168 in 20 overs.

Mumbai came in bat with Ishan and Rohit. Rohit looked good while batting while Ishan's wicket fell very unfortunately as the ball first hit is bat then went on to the keepers shoes and then to Jasom Holder's hand. Everyone had thought that Mumbai could have registered the first win for the season with Suryakumar coming in to bat and Rohit's good form. Rohit lost his wicket to Krunal and Surya fell to badoni and them Tilak showed some good batting skills before being dismissed to Jason Holder. Eventually nobody to help Mumbai to chase 168 runs and Mumbai failed to register their 1st win.

KL Rahul was awarded with the Man of the Match as he scored 103 in 62 balls.
