Gujarat Titans still stays at the top defeating Chennai Super Kings | Match 62 | CSKvsGT

First of all we would be sorry for not posting regularly as we had some un-deniable issues.

It is match mumber 62 between The Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede Stadium. CSK won the toss and elected to bat first.

Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway opened the innings for CSK. A slow start to the powerplay  as Conway lost his wicket to Shami for just 5 runs in 9 balls on the first ball of the 3rd over. Moeen Ali came in to bat at number 3. A need to build a partnership was required. Gaikwad charged on Yash Dayal as he smashed 15 runs in that over. After the Powerplay CSK were 47-1. They build a good 57 run partnership before Ali was dismissed by Sai Kishore for 21 runs in 17 balls. Jagadeesan came in to bat at number 4. Soon Ruturaj was dismissed by Rashid Khan after he scored 53 runs in 49 balls. Shivam Dube came in to bat but was out for a duck by Alzarri Joseph. Dhoni came ij to bat and was dismissed to Shami for just 7 runs in 10 balls. Santer came in and remained not our and Jagadeesan made 39 runs in 33 balls and remained not out.
The target was of 134 runs.

The target was of 134 was set. Wriddhiman Shah and Shubman Gill came in to bat. Shah looked in a great touch from the beginning. Gill got a slow steady start but was Pathirana who made his debut today. He was dismissed 18 runs in 17 balls. Mathew Wade came in and looked good but was dismissed by Moeen Ali for 20 runs in 15 balls. Hardik came in to bat and was also dismissed early for 7 runs in 6 balls by Pathirana. David Miller and Wriddhiman Shah did the job for the Titans. Saha scored 67 runs in 57 balls and remained not out with Miller scoring 15 runs in 20 balls.
