Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Poor Batting Makes Rajasthan’s Victory By 61 Runs in IPL 2022

Match No.5 it was at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium between Kane Williamson’s led Sunrisers Hyderabad and Sanju Samson led Rajasthan Royals. The coin was tossed and it fell in for the Sunrisers who opted to ball.

The Royals were invited to bat and the opening pairs were Jos Buttler and Jaiswal. Bhuvneshwar Kumar had opened the bowling for SRH and he dismissed Buttler for 0 but unfortunately it was a no-ball. A good partnership was created there but Umran Malik put things at halt. In came the RR’s skipper for scored a beautiful 55 runs in 27 balls which contained 3 fours and 5 sixes. On the other hand Padikkal also scored 41 runs in 29 balls and we also saw a good cameo from Hetmyer, hitting 32 runs in 13 balls before being cleaned bowled by Natarajan. The Royals put a total of 210 runs at a loss of 6 wickets.

When Sunrisers Hyderabad came out to bat they batting lineup was dismantled by the bowlers of Royals making a record for Hyderbad to forget, where they could score just 14 runs at loss of 3 wickets in powerplay. Rajasthan stumbled but only Aiden Markram and Washington Sundar were able to leave an impact at the end but still they failed to chase the score of 210 where they were only able to make 149 runs at the loss of 7 wickets.
